Dr. Kia C. Grundy, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Grundy received her undergraduate degree from Hampton University in Virginia and received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at UMDNJ-University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. She spent the next several years working in private practice prior to starting her own practice. She has served as the school physician for several charter schools in Newark, New Jersey. In addition to being a dedicated Pediatrician, she is also a committed wife and mother of two children. 


Dr. Grundy act as an advisor and oversee the childhood obesity program. 

Dr. Deborah Norton, PhD

Licensed Behavioral  Health Therapist Deborah Norton is a Licensed Board Certified Mental Health Counselor and Certified Coach. Dr. Norton has decades of clinical and administrative experiences serving nonprofits, mental health industry, academia and private practice. She combines her clinical counseling expertise with her education, public administration, and entrepreneurial skills to offer clients a unique perspective on managing personal, family, group and corporate challenges.

Dr. Regina Adesanya

Psychologist 

Dr. Regina Adesanya is a consultant  for Jump Kids Health and is responsible for overseeing the mental health component.  Dr. Regina Adesanya spent the majority of her career in non-profit settings as a program development administrator, teacher, psychologist and clinician with a focus on low income, urban families. Her expertise is in the area of child development, families, infants/toddlers and international education. Recently she has expanded her area of work into assessment and its impact on instruction. She is currently the ECE department Senator, a member of the C & I Committee and chairperson of the COE Curriculum Committee. She served as co-chairperson of the Faculty Committee for the Middle States self-study. Dr. Adesanya sits on the Programs for Parents board of directors in Essex County, is chairperson of the trustees for First Baptist Church of South Orange and treasurer for the Zonta Club of Essex County, an affiliate of Zonta International. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and spent 5 weeks studying curriculum development on a team in Namibia, Southwest Africa. She has presented at the National Black Child Development Conference and will present at the Hawaii International Conference on Education in January 2013.
